Istanbul has 113 years of history in Golf. The Istanbul Golf Club is the fourth oldest golf club in Europe. It was first opened in 1895 as the Constantinople Golf Club.
Another golf course is The Kemer golf club. It is 30 minutes from the city center, in Kemerburgaz neighborhood near the Belgrade Forest. This 18-hole par 73 championship golf course has been designed in USGA standards taking in all the beauty of the forestry area.
Third course is Klassis Golf & Country Club. It is located at Silivri, just over 1 hour drive from the city center and offers a wide variety of sports, including a hotel in its grounds. It's the first international PGA standard 18-holes club of Turkey. The par 73 courses have a total of 6.245 meters (6.830 yards) length which are sculptured through the surrounding countryside with good mixture of golf holes.
